The Battle strikers tournament set from Megabrand have a unique calibration system which is great for different battles. Spinning tops have climbed many levels and they actually allow the child not only to watch but also control the game and battle.

Battle Strikers tournament set are the next generation of battling tops.On the top of the tops are 4 areas which contain magnets.These line up with 4 magnets on the bottom side of the launcher.The Magnetic Controllers give you precise fingertip control (fit both hands).Power up your Turbo Launchers, load them up with your Strikers, launching them onto the arena for fast battles!

To get the tops spinning, you stick the top to the launcher, pull the trigger, and rev it up. Then you hit the top of the launcher with your other hand to pop the top down into the arena.Speed up your Battle Strikers at 6500 RPM and use your finger controllers to command the battle.

You have to be carful! These things spin fast, have hard protruding edges, and sometimes hop out of the arena - especially if there's a hard surface (wood table or floor) under it. We recommend placing the arena on carpet to help absorb some of the shock.

There are 16 Strikers to collect, each with different strengths and weaknesses. There are three performance categories - endurance, offence and defence - and each top is made up of six separate pieces that can be interchanged to make your own custom-designed Strikers.

With names like Tsunami, Cobra, Tank and Mauler, each Striker has its own character, and they are powered up by handheld Turbo Launchers to spin at a dizzying 6,500 rpm on almost any surface.

-Kids can get hurt with these. My son got hurt a couple times when one bounced out of the arena into his stomach.

-Anyone that tries to pick one up at full speed will have some sore fingers. Short of taking one to the head, though, and it's nothing that won't wear off after a few minutes.

-Younger kids may have a harder time dropping the top into the arena.

-Of the tops included in the set, the green top always seems to win.
